Project Overview

IBA Group provides support for the Order Management System (OMS) of our customer. The OMS support includes upgrades to software platforms, new product installations, releases, maintenance, and customizations.

Project Execution

One of the IBA Group's long–term projects, the OMS Support has been implemented since 1998. In 1998, 12 people worked on the project, while in 2005 the IBA OMS team was expanded to comprise 30 people. IBA Group is responsible for the support and control of all software applications as defined in the client project plan. The IBA team provides “hip and hop” support for 15 subsystems.

In addition, IBA Group works with the client personnel to communicate the effect and impact of system software changes. System programming includes problem definition, source identification, and error fixing for the subsystems.

Environment:

All system–based activities are performed on the client equipment. The following list defines skills required for the project:

  • C, PL/1, MVS, DB/2, IMS, ISPF, SDTM, CMVC95

Project Results

IBA Group provides high quality support for the client's Order Management System. Analyzing problems, making appropriate changes in the program code, as well as testing thoroughly the new versions, IBA contributes to the OMS higher quality and reliability. The application functionality was expanded to include dozens of new features and operating modes that meet user needs and expectations. The customer gave high marks to the IBA team.
