Minsk Central Department Store. 1C Project

Minsk Central Department Store (TSUM), one of the main shopping centers in the Belarusian capital.

Project Overview

The project was designed to develop an integrated management system that automates the following business processes of our client:

  • Management of procurement, sales, inventory, pricing, quality, HR, and motor transport
  • Accounting and taxation
  • Administrative management
  • Accounting in catering departments

Project Execution

The application software is developed on the “1C: Enterprise 8” platform and using the basic solution “IBA: Management of business enterprise” customized to the specifics of the client enterprise.

IBA has installed and put into operation the following subsystems:

  • Management of sales, procurement, and inventory at the customer's warehouses and trade departments
  • Accounting and taxation in the following areas:

–Fixed assets, intangible assets, commodities and materials, working clothes, household equipment, and services

–Banking transactions and settlements with suppliers and customers, with renters, and advertisers

–Cash operations, including those on operation cash desks of trade departments

–Settlements with the persons accountable

–Generation of invoices for services, including VAT invoices

–Calculation of charges for public utilities and maintenance, office space and advertising

–Accounting of the production of optional equipment

–Generation of Purchase Book

–Consolidated accounting, tax accounting, and enterprise balance.

  • Human Resources Management: maintenance of the organization structure, manning table, personnel records, labor hours tracking, personified accounting, military registration
  • Motor transport management

In addition, IBA developed software tools for data conversion from the operated applications, and carried out data conversion.

IBA implemented system integration of the “1C: Enterprise 8”–based software with a cash server to exchange data on goods and cash assets flow (transfer, selling, and merchandise return) in trade departments.

To date, the following software is either in development or operational testing:

  • Salary accounting;
  • Accounting in catering divisions;
  • Accounting of goods on commission;
  • Accounting in the department of merchandise return;
  • Lottery tickets and travel tickets.

Project Results

IBA created more than 150 workplaces based on “1C:Enterprise 8” in the following divisions: trade departments, warehouses, commercial service, economic department, pricing department, sales organization department, HR department, accounting department, payroll department, transport department, department of automated control systems, and administrative department. The average number of active connections is around one hundred.
