Our client is a group of three small–scale enterprises that are engaged in wholesale and retail trading of men and women outer clothing in the markets of Belarus and Russia.

Project Overview

The project is implemented using ERP II Microsoft Business Solutions Axapta 3.0 and includes:

  • Reengineering of the information technology of the company with Axapta algorithms in mind
  • Development of software specifications
  • Axapta tuning with minimal changes in the standard functionality to meet the specifications

The system functionality includes:

  1. Overall planning
  2. Sales management
  3. Procurement management
  4. Supplier and customer payments
  5. Business accounting (within automated features)

To implement the specified functionality, the following Axapta modules were used:

  • Base Package (Microsoft SQL)
  • Financials I & II
  • Trade
  • Trade Agreements
  • Logistics
  • Master Planning
  • Business Analysis
  • Database log
  • VAR Layer Runtime.

The total number of system users is 25 (company management, heads and specialists of financial and trade departments, and sales and procurement managers).


Project Execution

The project is implemented in close cooperation with the customer and using the IBA proprietary technology that meets DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and SEI CMMI Level 4.

The IBA responsibilities include:

  • Development
  • Testing
  • Deployment
  • Warranty servicing

The IBA team is comprised of two analysts who have three Axapta certificates. Launched in April 2005, the project will be completed in December 2005.


Project Results

The Axapta–based system will allow for the joint operation and management over financial and commercial activities of the group of companies and replace multiple Excel charts that are currently in use.
