The IBA Payment System interacts with a bank processing center using ISO 8583 or a bank's proprietary protocol

Operation Overview
A terminal sends a request for financial transaction to the IBA Payment Server. The Server accepts the request, provides the user with the needed information from the service provider, sends the request to the bank's processing center, and transfers transaction results to the terminal. After the operation is completed, the Server enters the transaction in its transaction database.
At the close of the day, the IBA Payment Server sends a report on completed transactions to the bank's processing center and the Bills System of the service provider.

IBA Payment Server
The IBA SMS Banking System interacts with a bank processing center using ISO 8583 or a bank's proprietary protocol. |
Operation Overview
IBA SMS Banking is based on “binding” the client's telephone number to the client's card number. To achieve the binding, the client needs to go through a registration procedure with an IBA ITT. The database of bound mobile phone and card numbers is maintained on the IBA SMS Banking Server. As a result, the client's mobile phone can be used to access the card account.
Information exchange between the IBA SMS Banking System and the SMSC server of the mobile telephone operator is performed using HTTP or SMPP protocols.
IBA SMS Banking can be based on the IBA Payment Server or supplied as an independent system.
IBA INFORMATION AND TRANSACTION TERMINAL
